Robin Hood And His Merry Mam!

Following on from last year’s smash hit York Family Robinson, which sold over 50,000 tickets, Pantomime legend Berwick Kaler is back for his latest hilarious madcap seasonal treat at York Theatre Royal - Robin Hood and his Merry Mam!

Written and directed by Berwick Kaler, the world’s first historically incorrect pantomime– based on fact– will be thrilling (or should that be confusing!!) theatre audiences from Thursday 13th December – Saturday 2nd February 2013.

Set in 1212 King Richard the Lionheart is away fighting in the Crusades, whilst here at home Robin Hood has the task of saving the rightful heirs to the throne from the evil Prince John and Sheriff Hutton of Nottingham! He also has to cope with the arrival of his mother who thinks he’s an accountant and brings with her a recipe for slapstick, mayhem and zany antics.

Robin Hood and His Merry Mam! may have ‘Made in York’ stamped all over it, but it promises to be the pantomime the whole country will want to see.
