West Side Story - the Greatest Musical of All Time

The 1957 Broadway premiere of West Side Story redefined the genre of the musical both musically and in terms ofchoreography. The film version, awarded ten Oscars, brought it to an audience of millions.

To this day it is the undisputed greatest musicalof all time: daring, realistic, and as relevant as it was on the day of its premiere.

DarlingtonOS will bring the passion, emotion, anger and frustrations of New York's West Side gangland to life in April 2017, 60 years after it's original Broadway run.

As Darlington Civic Theatre will be undergoing it’s fantastic restoration we will be performing West Side Story at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium at Yarm School.
