Bringing his trademark high-energy comedy and infectious storytelling, Chris Ramsey takes
centre stage.
A beloved figure in British comedy, Ramsey is renowned for his brilliant
observational humour that captures the quirks of everyday life with incredible wit and charm.
From viral stand-up specials to hit TV shows and podcasts, he’s a comedy powerhouse and we’re pleased he’s coming to Yarm.
Taking the reins for the evening will be your MC Jason Cook, who’ll be firing up the crowd
with his razor-sharp Geordie humour. Carl Hutchinson brings his distinctive northern
comedy style to the line-up, known for his brutally honest and hilariously self-deprecating
approach. Completing the bill is Kate Lucas, a rising star known for her razor sharp and
deliciously dark songs. With her clever writing and engaging performance style, she is
quickly becoming a must-see act on the comedy circuit.

Jason Cook
Be ready for pretty much anything when Jason Cook takes to the stage. Behind his cheerful Geordie exterior lurks a dark, sharp comedic mind capable of taking an unsuspecting audience to places they didn't want to go. Dwarves, newspaper vendors, the toilets at raves, true-to-life stories that drag you in and won't let go. Cook is close to the edge but always intriguing and blessed with the sort of charm that'll have you laughing in spite of yourself. 'A wonderfully life-affirming, beautifully crafted, total and utter joy. My jaw aches from laughing' (Time Out) 'Few people have his warmth and spontaneity; it's an act you'd gladly watch again and again' (The Skinny).
