Bootworks Theatre

The Many Doors of Frank Feelbad is a show for kids and their accompany grown-ups. It follows Frank, an inquisitive puppet with a big problem; what’s happened to Mum? Frank will journey on an adventure to find her.

In the production there will be scavenger hunts, puzzles to solve and even some dancing to dubstep. The show will also sensitively be dealing with grief and loss, and raises questions on how people cope when things go missing.

In the show will be The Lose-O-Porium, an intimate space where all lost things live, and where Frank's adventures can be enjoyed by a small intimate audience of children and their grown-ups.

The action will take place in the auditorium, where the audience members will be closely situated to the performance, with lots of participation for little ones to get involved.

Bootworks Theatre Collective are a group of artists who work in a range of disciplines and contexts. They make a varied spectrum of work including devised performance, live art and children’s shows. They will be building on the success of their previous show The Incredible Book Eating Boy.
