Full steam ahead out of Darky Lane, Ludlow. Open to offers for sponsorship from purveyors of a full spectrum of crusty pork products, and peddling a distinctive mix of punk, ska, skiffle and folk. Fuelled by strong drink and a righteous sense of social justice. The jury is out on whether they are a horrible warning or a fantastic example. Leon Gormley is an acoustic singer songwriter from The Midlands performing original songs on Steel Strung Guitar and Cittern. His own original music draws you in with skill, and a lyrical, mesmerising energy. 'Haunting set' 'Fabulous' Pete Kelly' In our opinion, Leon is one of the finest exponents of traditional influenced folk music that we have encountered. Leon's songwriting skills, supported by his accomplished vocals guitar and cittern playing, are worthy of great recognition' Electric Eden.
Sam Gwinnell is a local acoustic singer/songwriter, based within Worcester. He has played at a variety of venues around the midlands. His range of music covers acoustic pop, through to soft rock and back to 70's rock. He brings a chilled out feel to his music and is currently working on producing his first EP which will be available later in the year.
The Assist are a 4 piece indie/alternative band from Walsall. The lads have a huge passion for real music, and their honest, hard hitting lyrics speak for themselves. It’s music that anyone can identify with from sing along anthems to infectious guitar riffs.
