Mowgli is a young orphan boy who is raised by wolves in the jungle, until one day Bagheera the black panther learns that Shere Khan the dangerous tiger is back in their territory. The animals try to get him back to the man village for his own safety, but they have a struggle on their hands since Mowgli doesnt quite feel like a human after growing up as part of an animal pack. Mowgli makes friends with the care-free Baloo who promises never to return him to the humans.

But after Mowgli is captured by King Louies tribe, hypnotised by the python Kaa and nearly eaten by Shere Khan, Baloo agrees that its safer for Mowgli to return to his kind. But will Mowgli want to stay in the man-village once he finds out what those selfish humans are really up to in the jungle?

Acting Up is our drama group for young people with disabilities and additional needs. We are proud to be funded by BBCs Children in Need. Previous Acting Up performances include The Just So Stories and The Wind in the Willows.
