Michaela Allen

22 year old award winning classical pianist Michaela Allen was raised in Suffolk. She was self-taught throughout her childhood, before studying piano performance at U.K. leading conservatoire Leeds College of Music. Michaela was named one of Leeds College of Music's 'Graduates To Watch' in 2018 and was awarded the conservatoire prize for Classical Music.

Her work has taken her across the U.K. and internationally. She plans to continue her performance and musical research career in the U.S.A. Some of her notable engagements have included performances for the likes of Leeds International Piano Festival, The Turner Prize, The Hepworth Art Gallery, Finchcocks, Malvern Priory, and the Northern Contemporary School of Dance.

Michaela currently studies piano in Cambridge and is a piano and vocal coach based in Suffolk.

Programme to include Beethoven, Scarlatti, Chopin - Nocturne in E-Flat Major, Op. 9 No. 2, Schumann and perhaps some favourites from Schubert and Debussy

This performance will be followed by afternoon tea in the garden, weather permitting.
