Electricity OMD tribute band pays homage to OMD (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark), paving the way for artists in electronic and new wave genres. Resonating across generations with groundbreaking work. Capturing the essence of OMD's music with passion, precision, and deep respect for the band's legacy. This Influential synth-pop band from the 1980s, blending electronic innovation with infectious melodies. Authentic Sound: We meticulously reproduce OMD's distinct sound, using vintage synthesizers, drum machines, and other period-specific equipment to capture the essence of the band's pioneering work. Song Performances: Our live shows are a tribute to OMD's legendary concerts, combining high-energy performances with stunning visuals that transport audiences back to the 1980s. We play all the classic hits as well as songs from latest albums for the true fans. Live Performances: If you are an individual booker, we can carry a 6K P.A rig including lighting, which would be comfortable for 200 - 600 people venue, all insured and p.a.t tested. Passionate Musicians: Every member of our band is a devoted OMD fan, bringing a deep understanding of the music and a genuine love for the craft to each performance. The UK and Europe’s ultimate Kraftwerk tribute band. Animating the audience with live music and a laser performance of Kraftwerks' electronic dance tunes, this stunning tribute band is dedicated to the German pioneers of synthesizer music who influenced the British scene of the 70’s and 80’s which along with German techno was coming full circle to dance music in the 90’s. What Kraftwerk have said and produced over three decades of music-making has inspired many of the key players in today’s popular music. This tribute act is a Van-w concept of stage media art and includes popular Kraftwerk tracks such as The Model, Pocket Calculation, The Robots, Autobahn, Tour de France and Trans Europe Express, all demonstrating that songs about very simple subjects can leave an immensely powerful and striking impression.
