Tina May & Her Paris Cats
Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser
Join us for a musical celebration of all things French with Tina May and her Paris Cats - a Hot Club swing quartet.
Jazz singer Tina May - a regular performer at the renowned Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club - makes a welcome return to Rosehill with French chansons and swing tunes, joined by Andy Mackenzie on lead guitar, Neil Browning on rhythm guitar and accordion, Greg Robley on bass and Billy Thomson on violin.
Expect to be transported to a Parisian café with the Swinging Hot Club de France sound reminiscent of Django Reinhart /Stéphane Grapelli.
The evening will be a real musical treat with the warm seductive tones of Tina singing chansons made famous by artistes such as Trenet, Piaf, Julie Greco, Chevalier, Yves Montand and more...
Songs will include La Mer, La Vie en Rose, La Javanaise, Sweet Georgia Brown, Les Feuilles Mortes (Autumn Leaves), C'est si Bon, I Love Paris, N'oublie Jamais, C'est Magnifiques, Sous le Ciel de Paris... the list goes on!
Tina wowed the audience at our Piaf and Friends stage supper in December 2018 and again when she returned in March this year for a Mother's Day jazz concert. Book early to make sure you don't miss out.
