Mendelssohn’s effervescent Fourth symphony triggers a day of discovery and engagement with the help of musicologists, historians, period performance experts plus staff and students from Wells Cathedral School.
A complete performance of the work will be preceded by a day of talks and workshops on the piece and its contexts with eminent musicians and speakers including Mendelssohn experts Katy Hamilton and Benedict Taylor.

Performance 4:30pm. Free for 25s and under.
