Never miss another 'Karl Hyde' show
Karl Hyde + Farao
Underworld's Karl Hyde has announced a series of live shows prior to the release of his first solo album, 'Edgeland', due in April.
Currently rehearsing a four piece live band in deepest Essex, Karl will play a series of intimate gigs and festivals in major cities across the world. Karl will be heading across Europe before stopping at the Union Chapel in London this April.
This event takes place at Union Chapel, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
Karl Hyde is Knight of all positive energy and good vibes, as well as the lyric writing poet voice of Underworld, who assimilated techno into the art-rock tradition with frantic cut-up lyrics, eccentric humour and waves of improvisation.
Karl was, along with Rick Smith, main man responsible for starting the Underworld phenomenon back in the mid 80s.

Farao is the pseudonym of Norwegian multi instrumentalist and singer songwriter Kari Jahnsen, now based in London. Performing all instrumentation other than drums and bass, her vast army of tools – guitars, synths, organs, glockenspiel, sitar – radiate with intense emotional and musical craft. She recorded her debut EP in Reykjavik, Iceland, with Mike Lindsay from UK experimental folk band Tunng. Farao is a singer with a fragile and otherworldly tone. '...Farao's sweet honey toned vocals brings the bittersweet melancholy.' – Line Of Best Fit.
