Dvorák Eight: Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO)

Borisova-Ollas - Open Ground
Schumann - Piano Concerto
Dvorák - Symphony No8

If you love Dvorák’s New World Symphony, you won’t be surprised to hear that his Eighth Symphony is every bit as enjoyable. But you might be surprised by just how many tunes you go home humming! Glorious stuff, conducted with verve by the dynamic Christoph Altstaedt.

First, though, enjoy Schumann’s bright-eyed love-letter of a piano concerto with Barry Douglas – and discover the amazing world of Victoria Borisova-Ollas and her Salman Rushdie-inspired Open Ground.

This event takes place at Usher Hall, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
