Palma Violets
Following the release of their debut album '180' on 25th February, the London four-piece kick off a short UK headline tour in March.
Palma Violets formed last year and, up until recently, have had minimum online presence and no songs recorded, instead preferring for people to come and experience their raucous live shows at their Lambeth studio 180. The album is named after this building, which also features on the cover.
'180' was recorded in London at RAK Studios (produced by Pulp's Steve Mackey), and also at The Lightship (produced by Rory Attwell).
This event takes place at Cambridge Junction, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.

Palma Violets
For a long time if you wanted to hear the most exciting new band in Britain, you knocked on a tall black door off the Lambeth Road. An aging British Rail building - part art studio happening, part squat – Studio 180 was where south London's Palma Violets were gestating, away from sunlight and the world at large. A thrilling rock'n'roll four piece, from September 2011 they were holed-up here writing songs "their friends could dance to" and occasionally putting on celebratory, ecstatic parties about which word quickly spread. Palma Violets are Sam Fryer (vocals/guitar), Chilli Jesson (vocals/bass), Pete Mayhew (keyboard) and Will Doyle (drums), playing energetic, crooning garage rock with a dreamy, psychedelic edge.
