Inquisition Presents: Die So Fluid + Hostile + Maleficent + Grace Solero
Die So Fluid have cancelled their UK tour, with the exception of their London show at Mother on April 6th. This date is still going ahead.
See www.diesofluid.net for further information.
Die So Fluid are the modern incarnation of a 'power trio'. Their sonic identity possesses the muscle of metal, the angular cheekbones of post-punk and the bittersweet heart of grunge. They are part of a new generation of rock bands who chose to turn down signing a traditional record deal and embrace the changes the internet has made to the industry by stripping record companies of their distribution and promotion monopolies.

Hostile is a pure British metal band from the heart of the Midlands, the birth place of heavy metal. They have become regulars on the UK live circuit, playing well known venues including Wolves Civic and supporting big acts such as SoulFly, Morbid Angel, Machine Head and Megadeth in Moscow.

The lazy among us would just compare Miss Martini to another "Lady Gaga" – but she is so much more than that. The glamorous Italian is a professional ballerina, having trained at London's infamous Royal Ballet School, and has performed at venues all over the world, including Rome's 'Teatro De l'Opera'. This is something which heavily features in the band's live performances along with the occasional rope suspension act. Maleficent are a band which definitely dabble with the dark side of pop, adding traces of electro, industrial, and metal into an already eclectic equation; with theatrical double vocals from Miss Maleficent Martini, and Mortimer Cain, hard hitting drums from Prof. Lucius Vargulf, first guitarist Lucious, second guitarist Chester Wormington and the bassist with the most f**ked up sound Alice Rain. Catchy synthesised riffs all mixed together with a live set design which wouldn't be amiss in a Tim Burton movie.

Grace Solero are a band not short on star talent. Singer and guitarist Grace herself possesses a visceral voice of astounding range, and a presence and poise as a performer that points to past dance, acting and gymnastics training. In the group she lends her name to, her star quality is matched by that of California-born, London-based lead guitarist Dan Beaulaurier, whose style displays a rare mix of technical mastery and real soul. Completed by a powerful rhythm section, their sound taps into the emotional intensity and light/dark dynamics with an infusion of ferocity and fragility.
