A Celebration Od Lerner And Loewe: City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO)
Wouldn’t it be loverly? A whole feel-good evening devoted to the romantic melodies of Lerner and Loewe: the team who brought you My Fair Lady, Gigi, Camelot, Brigadoon and Paint Your Wagon.
The CBSO makes that dream come true tonight, as superstar conductor John Wilson, a team of West End singers and a luxurious full orchestra play their very greatest songs. Expect all your favourites, including I Could Have Danced All Night, How to Handle a Woman, Almost Like Being In Love, I Remember it Well and over 20 more. Pure escapism!
Founded in 1920, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra has always had an illustrious career. In fact, the first concert was conducted by Sir Edward Elgar. The orchestra has grown into a 90-piece ensemble with a worldwide reputation.
