The Best In Live Stand-Up Comedy : Andrew Bird, Tom Wrigglesworth, Ian Coppinger, George Egg
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realised then that he wanted to be funny in some way. Relaxed and improvisatory, Andrew Bird is one of those rare comedians who makes friends with his audiences in an instant with his engaging mix of childhood stories and more recent anecdotes.
He has supported Rhod Gilbert, Lee Hurst and Michael McIntyre as well as performing internationally.
'Superb... the exciting rising star' (Time Out)
'A natural comedian' (The Stage)
'Beautifully observed and insightful... not only an entertaining story but a very funny hour of fine stand-up' (Chortle)
'Effortlessly engaging and funny as hell' (Rhod Gilbert).

Tom is a frighteningly tall comedian, but a thoroughly nice man with a likeable stage presence and confident delivery. This Yorkshire funny man became a national have-a-go-hero when he rescued a little old lady from the jaws of Virgin train bureaucracy, only to be arrested for begging. He's also the winner of Channel 4's 'So You Think You're Funny?' competition.
An articulate and natural raconteur, he possesses an innate ability to riff with an audience like they’re old friends. His warm and hilarious tales, told with true passion never fail to captivate the crowd. His television credits include Russell Howard’s Good News, Edinburgh Comedy
Show, Live At The Comedy Store and Engineering Giants.
'Magical storytelling... a rare talent... hysterical and accomplished' (Time Out)
'The gods of comedy chose greatness for Tom' (The Scotsman).

George Egg is a stand-up comedian who cooks food, surprisingly good food, live on stage using
unconventional methods and unexpected equipment. He makes you laugh too.
George won the Spirit Of The Fringe Award for his 'Anarchist Cook' show and he toured extensively on a 60 plus date tour throughout the UK as well as abroad at festivals in New Zealand, Estonia, Norway and Holland. Sell out runs at the Soho Theatre and numerous festivals, arts centres and theatres lead to appearances cooking on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Loose Ends’ and Radio 4 Extra’s ‘The Comedy Club’.
He is currently touring his second food-centric show 'GEORGE GG: DIY CHEF', in which he cooks food using power tools.
As a professional and sought-after comedian for the last two decades George has performed internationally taking his absurd brand of far-reaching humour from countries like German to India, both on stage and on the television. He has also been the support act for Lee Mack, Micky Flanagan and Jack Dee.
“Trust us, you won’t believe how good the food is” (The Scotsman).
'A hugely entertaining variety turn' (The Guardian).
