93 Live: The Promenade + We're No Heroes + Pylo + Jaques Caramac + TSG
Raised in St Albans, now based in Brighton ‘The Promenade’ are a timeless three piece exploring the universal beauty and darkness of youth and its possibilities. Their simple shifts in shade and tone bring forward the lyrical depth and poignancy of their songs. Front man Jack Ridley and drummer Remi Bumstead became best friends at school, growing up and playing music together. Throughout his teens, Jack worked purely as a solo artist gaining recognition in and around the St Albans area. Although Jack Still works as a solo artist, the desire to start a band was itching away at him as strong as when he was a young boy. In late 2010 they recruited bass guitarist William Day, and made it official. Now studying at art college and university in Brighton, they regularly play in the area as well as in and around London.

We're No Heroes are a three-piece band from Cardiff. They have been likened to 80s bands such as Spandau Ballet and The Whitest Boy Alive amongst others. During the past year the band have been showcased on BBC Radio 1 with Jen Long, BBC 6 Music with Tom Robinson & BBC Radio Wales with Bethan Elfyn & Adam Walton. The band then gained further attention from TopShop, who included all of their current tracks on their playlist, reaching in excess of 300 stores across the UK for over 3 months.
