Little Noise Sessions : The Maccabees + Jamie N Commons + Jessie Ware
Mencap Little Noise Sessions, in association with Toshiba, are back for their seventh year – and there's positively nothing 'little' about this year's line up!
Set in the iconic St John-at-Hackney Church, Mencap's annual winter music festival is set to host a week of must-see concerts from 19-25 November. For the first time in its history, Mencap have added an extra date to this year's Little Noise Sessions to welcome Gary Barlow. Having just sold out his 17-date arena tour in minutes, Gary's appearance at the 1,200 capacity St John-at-Hackney Church on Monday 19th November will provide fans with an unrivalled opportunity to see him in such an intimate setting.
In addition to being one of Britain's biggest pop stars, an award-winning song writer and a judge on X Factor, Gary is a committed philanthropist and is renowned for organising and taking part in many large projects for charity. He joins the likes of Olly Murs, Richard Hawley, The Maccabees, Amy Macdonald, Noah and the Whale and Jessie Ware at this year's series of concerts.

This event takes place at St John-at-Hackney Church, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
Brighton's Maccabees have gone from strength to strength since the release of their debut top 30 album 'Colour It In' in 2007. Their brand of slightly off-kilter British art-rock has seen them compared to the likes of Wire, Blur, Magazine, Futureheads and XTC. Their frenzied live shows have generated stage invasions and riotous crowds buzzing to the sounds of already classic anthems like 'About Your Dress' and 'Toothpaste Kisses'. After 14 years together, in 2016 the guys announced they had decided to call it a day, and will play their farewell shows in 2017.
The Maccabees tour dates
Young folk troubadour from London with touches of Richard Thompson and Nick Drake. It's hard to believe he's not American - he was born in Bristol (though he did spend his formative years in Chicago).
"With a whiskey and nicotine soaked growl of a voice, a five piece band and a bunch of songs that sound like they were uncovered in an attic where they'd been lying there since 1959 waiting for Johnny Cash or Nick Cave to cover them" - BBC Sounds Of 2012.
