Little Noise Sessions: Richard Hawley + First Aid Kit + King Charles
Mencap Little Noise Sessions, in association with Toshiba, are back for their seventh year – and there's positively nothing 'little' about this year's line up!
Set in the iconic St John-at-Hackney Church, Mencap's annual winter music festival is set to host a week of must-see concerts from 19-25 November. For the first time in its history, Mencap have added an extra date to this year's Little Noise Sessions to welcome Gary Barlow. Having just sold out his 17-date arena tour in minutes, Gary's appearance at the 1,200 capacity St John-at-Hackney Church on Monday 19th November will provide fans with an unrivalled opportunity to see him in such an intimate setting.
In addition to being one of Britain's biggest pop stars, an award-winning song writer and a judge on X Factor, Gary is a committed philanthropist and is renowned for organising and taking part in many large projects for charity. He joins the likes of Olly Murs, Richard Hawley, The Maccabees, Amy Macdonald, Noah and the Whale and Jessie Ware at this year's series of concerts.
See www.littlenoisesessions.org.uk for further information.
This event takes place at St John-at-Hackney Church, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
A guitarist's guitarist who has played with the likes of Pulp, Longpigs and Robbie Williams, now out on his own with a repertoire of original songs melding classic Americana with true grit Northern Britain.

Swedish duo First Aid Kit, as their name suggests, will heal and ease the pain. Comprising sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, their soothing brand of Indie-Folk with the odd hint of Country has seen them grow from cult status to playing sell-out tours and achieving gold and platinum albums with 'The Lion's Roar' and 'Stay Gold'. They have worked with Jack White, sung for Patti Smith and toured with Bright Eyes and Lykke Li.

King Charles is an extraordinary man. He doesn't look like anyone you know, he doesn't think like anyone you know and he doesn't make music like anyone you know. How often, in these days of near fatal over saturation, days where you feel that, perhaps, there's just nothing new out there to spark your imagination, can you say that? Glorious psychedelic folk from this highly rated indie-folk solo act.
