Never miss another 'Dan Nightingale' show
Catch 22 Christmas Special: Dan Nightingale, Daliso Chaponda, Danny McLoughlin
"It's Chrissssssssssmasssssss! And here's the first of two parties full of festive fun.
A winning mix of keen observations and killer punchlines have made Dan Nightingale one of the most sought-after comics up and down the land.
Support comes from Malawian tand-up comedian and writer Daliso Chaponda Daliso, who has been known to jump on planes and tell jokes anywhere on the globe (even on the planes - whether the passenger next to him wants to listen or not).
And charming Christmas chatterbox Danny McLoughlin is MC for this festive special."

Daliso is a versatile African comedian equally comfortable talking politics, romance, filth or religion. As such, he has performed in such diverse venues as churches, casinos, strip clubs and sports bars and was a finalist on Britain's Got Talent 2017. He has lived in countries where the press is not allowed to criticize the government, and in others with no libel laws where they can say anything. He has been both a journalist and a jaded newsreader.
Daliso has appeared at many festivals that have included Melbourne, Edinburgh, Singapore and Cape Town Festivals. He is also a prolific fiction writer and has had his science fiction, murder mysteries and fantasy fiction published in numerous magazines and anthologies. He also co-wrote a play that aired on BBC Radio 4.

'It takes a special kind of act to work on both sides of the Atlantic (as well as across Africa), but it seems an easy transition as he compels the crowd with his racial and socially insightful comedy' (News and Star, Carlisle)
'Absolutely [took] the roof off the place. Brilliant, brilliant act' (The Frog and Bucket).

With an amiable, confident stage presence and a well written set, Danny delivers material with more than just an immediate pay-off line, preferring to take the joke one or two steps further.
Confident enough to take a risk on stage he does so not to the detriment of the audience, keeping them laughing along or hanging on every word.
A bright future surely awaits.
'McLoughlin's main weapon is his audacity: he's so bold he can recite an advertising jingle and still get plenty of laughs' (Chortle).
