Highly-acclaimed Geordie stand-up comedian with numerous TV and radio credits to his name. An expert in the delivery of in-yer-face comedy, Dave's high-energy routine has left audiences around the globe gasping for breath and crying with laughter.
In 1989 Johns’ launched the Comedy Café on Westgate Road and invited the emerging Jack Dee and Jo Brand to appear, but realising they needed an MC stepped-up and did it himself. Finding he was rather good at it and pricing tickets at £3.75 including soup and a bun, the club became a city hot spot and Dave went on to host many more comedy stars including Eddie Izzard, Steve Coogan, Harry Hill and nervous 14 year old lad called Ross Noble who went on to do rather well for himself.
Johns became a successful comedian, touring throughout the UK, a regular with the Comedy Store Players and appearing on much loved TV shows like Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of Ten Cats.
'He performs comedy's greatest magic, simply by being himself. A genuinely funny, engaging performer' (Glasgow Herald)
'He shifts from the sublime, to genius, to uproar in the blink of an eye - an extremely entertaining hour' (The Guardian).

Manchester comedian and former regular contributor to XFM's breakfast show, Hayley Ellis has gone from strength to strength since she began performing in April 2009.
A regular MC at gigs around the country, Hayley's natural warmth and girl-next-door charm make her impossible to dislike, something which has become evident in her success in new act competitions throughout the UK.
'Small in stature yet big in energy, Ellis simply makes you laugh' (Giggle Beats)
'Warm and engaging, she's a refreshing, dissenting voice in the current female trend of twee, patchwork niceties' (http://www.viewsfromthegods.co.uk).

Nathan is a young black British comic, gigging on both the mainstream and black comedy circuit. His set is highly obsevational, influenced by his culture and upbringing, and also coming from a young person's outlook on life, from the well-known Nigerian traffic warden and the always-disciplining West-Indian mother, to MTV's Pimp my Ride.
'Excellent story-telling skills keep the crowd easily entertained' (Three Weeks).
‘Caton is probably the most exciting young black comic on the scene’ (Fest Magazine).
'Caton's a slick performer with an unbeatable stage attitude and the confident air of someone much more experienced' (Chortle).
'Compelling, well-observed stand-up... He specialises in laidback, on-the-nose material, chopping down fools of all colours, both in day-to-day life and in the media' (The Guardian).
Nathan Caton was named in Ents24's top 20 hardest-working comedians of 2015.
