Never miss another 'Gaz Brookfield' show
Nu / anti-folk artist and winner of Acoustic Magazines's UK singer-songwriter competition. His songs are instantly accessible, everyman tales of life, love and everything else in between. Played in a folk-ish style with occasional use of the guitar as a percussive tool, as well as some two handed venturing around the fretboard, Gaz's simple yet poignant songwriting captures the imagination of the listener.

These anarcho-anglo storytellers draw from a plethora of influences including alt. country folk and hardcore punk.
The Cheltenham four piece changed their name from Jim Lockey & The Solemn Suns, to simply Solemn Sun in 2014. As well as changing their moniker, their music also changed somewhat, with an edgier and darker sound, there are no acoustic guitars while a heavy electronic element helps separate it even further from their previous work.

Lonely Tourist delivers a 'beard pop' and 'pub-step' like a greyhound out the traps. The tunes are largely upbeat and joyous, despite the sometimes bleak subject matter. Imagine Malcolm Middleton taking a happy pill, and this might be the result.
"Put simply to the uninitiated we’re watching Johnny Cash with the broadest Scottish accent" - Bristol 24-7
