One of Britain's best loved sopranos who is equally at home on opera stages singing all the major soprano roles, as a soloist with the world's great orchestras and as a recitalist regularly working with accompanist Graham Johnson.
Dame Felicity Lott tour dates
The orchestra was founded in 2002 for a performance in Canterbury Cathedral as part of the Canterbury Festival, conducted by international conductor and oboist, Nicholas Daniel
In 2007, the orchestra was brought together once again under conductor Anthony Halstead. A professional orchestra that enjoys exploring and performing a wealth of wonderful chamber music.
Managed by Ian Crowther, Principal Oboist.
Festival Chamber Orchestra Canterbury tour dates
Hampshire indie-rock four-piece who famously took the Radiohead route in 2009 by releasing their debut album, 'Thank You', as a free download from their website. To date the album has had over 20,000 downloads. Their hook-laden rock anthems have previously seen them become Rock Sound's "Band Of The Week", and Mike Sparks and the boys surely look set to do it elsewhere.
