Never miss another 'Beth Orton' show
The BRIT Award-winner and two-time Mercury Prize nominee will be touring the UK in November and December with 'Sugaring Season', her first new album in six years.
'Sugaring Season' was recorded in Portland, Oregon, with producer Tucker Martine (My Morning Jacket, The Decemberists). The album bears the fruits of a period of introspection and renewal: deeply lyrical songwriting, a newfound expressivity of voice, and, more than ever before, a daring synthesis of her broad musical influences into a powerfully individual artistic vision.
'Sugaring Season' is released on October 1st.
BRIT award winning Norwich singer-songwriter Beth Orton has built a career delivering quiet, slow dreamy songs blended with trip-hop breaks, folky guitar and haunting vocals. After initial work in the 90s with the likes of William Orbit and the Chemical Brothers, she soon achieved success on her own, including two UK top 20 albums in the shape of 'Central Reservation' and 'Daybreaker'. After a hiatus following the birth of her daughter, Beth returned to the limelight with 2016's well-received 'Kidsticks', offering a more electronic sound than her previous releases.
