Jack and the Beanstalk: Julian Clary, Nigel Havers, Lee Mead, Paul Zerdin
Jack and the Beanstalk has more comedy than you can shake a bag of magic beans at, outrageous costumes, fabulous sets, a huge beanstalk - and one very mean giant at the top of it!
The traditional elements of family pantomime combine with visual effects, including a fantastic 3D enchanted forest and journey through the Giant's castle.
Pantomime at its best!
One of the most distinctive comics in the early days of alternative comedy, then an 'overnight success' through his iconoclastic Channel 4 game show Sticky Moments, Julian Clary has spent 30 years in show business dividing his time between radio and television, films and stage as an actor, entertainer, presenter and writer.
Although he claims nowadays to enjoy the life of a country gentleman in his 16th century farmhouse, he can't resist the lure of live performance. Of course, expects a warm hand on his arrival... Ooh, naughty!
'Lots of camp smut and double entendres... doesn't disappoint... he was side-splittingly hilarious' (Daily Mirror)
'His persona of camp superciliousness is effortlessly amusing... Clary's genius is to
find sexual suggestion where the rest of us wouldn't think of looking' (The Guardian)
'The audience – gay, straight, young, old – loved Clary and it was easy to see why' (Evening Standard).

He subsequently enjoyed a successful run in this hit musical at the Adelphi Theatre, which was acclaimed by audiences and critics alike.
Since then, Lee has established himself as one of the leading names in musical theatre, having played Fiyero in Wicked and Emmett in Legally Blonde. Lee has also played the main role in a national tour of Oscar Wilde's Lord Arthur Savile's Crime. He is currently a regular cast member of BBC1's long-running drama Casualty.

Considered by many to be the man who has made ventriloquism 'cool' and with more than 3 million hits on YouTube, plus guest appearances on Comedy Rocks and the Royal Variety Performance, Paul Zerdin is, without doubt, one of the most talented ventriloquist comedians in the world.
'Paul Zerdin is in a league of his own'(Time Out)
'If you thought the words brilliant and ventriloquist could not exist in the same sentence, go and see Paul Zerdin for some brutal re-education' (Evening Standard)
'Technically immaculate, it's what he does with his slick talent that really sets him apart. His relationship with the characters has all the dramatic tension of a real life double act' (The Guardian)
'Paul Zerdin's ventriloquist act is a fun, mind scrambling experience' (The Daily Telegraph).
