Never miss another 'Bob Dylan' show
Bob Dylan + Mark Knopfler
In a coming together of two of the greatest living songwriters, Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler join together for a series of shows in Europe this autumn.
Bob Dylan will be bringing his unique blend of folk, country, blues and rock, performing hits like 'Blowin' In The Wind', 'Mr Tambourine Man' and 'Knocking on Heavens Door'. His hits have influenced a whole new generation of musicians from The Beatles to Bruce Springsteen.
Mark Knopfler and his band will also be joining Bob Dylan for the first time, with the lead guitarist and vocalist for Dire Straits bringing together the best band members in the field to host a show not to be missed! The band will consist of Richard Bennett on guitar, Guy Fletcher on keyboards, Jim Cox on piano, John McCusker on violin and cittern, Mike McGoldrick on flute, whistles and pipes, Glenn Worf on bass and Ian Thomas on drums.
With this collaboration taking place for the first time in the UK, these tickets are going to be the hottest in town!
This event takes place at Manchester Arena, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
A legend in his lifetime and the poet laureate for a generation. From his early days as a protesting folk troubadour Dylan has consistently reinvented himself through rock poet, country music crooner, star-crossed lover and Old Testament prophet of doom. Always either one step ahead of the game, or ignoring the game altogether, Dylan continues to live up to the expectations of fans and critics alike by producing material that has the full history of American song writing flowing through it. No matter what guise he's wearing, the music always remains true to Dylan's trademark lyrical cutting edge that has been so often imitated, and so rarely surpassed.
