Faces trio Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones reunite in September 2015 for a short set at the 2015 Prostate Cancer UK charity gig in Surrey.
Formed from the ashes of The Small Faces, Faces comprised Ronnie Lane, Ian McLagan, Kenney Jones, Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart. They had hits with Stay With Me and Ooh La La before disbanding in the mid seventies. Ronnie Wood went on to join The Rolling Stones, while Rod Stewart had a hugely successful solo career.
The Faces returned in 2010 with Ronnie Wood, Kenney Jones and the glorious keyboards of Ian McLagan augmented by former Sex Pistol, Glen Matlock on bass and the inimitable vocals of lifelong Faces' fan Mick Hucknall.
The Faces tour dates
Ronnie Wood is best known as a former member of the Jeff Beck Group, Faces, and the Rolling Stones guitarist since 1975.
He is also a well-known visual artist. His paintings, drawings and prints frequently feature icons of popular culture and have been exhibited all over the world.
The Ronnie Wood Band tour dates
A member of Small Faces, which became Faces when Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood joined the band, Ian 'Mac' McLagan was a rock'n'roll icon. Mac co-wrote many Faces hits, including Cindy Incidentally, You're So Rude and Three Button Hand Me Down.
His distinctive Wurlitzer electric piano can be heard on the Faces' Stay With Me and the Rolling Stones' smash Miss You. It was also Mac's trademark B3 you hear on Small Faces' Itchycoo Park, Rod Stewart's Maggie May and You Wear It Well.
Ian 'Mac' McLagan tour dates
The long-standing frontman of Simply Red, one of the biggest-selling bands of the '90s, has built a successful solo career since the band split following their farewell tour back in 2010. He released his first solo album in 2008, and also toured with Faces as the guest vocalist. Renowned for his great interpretations of others' songs, having had global hits with Money's Too Tight To Mention, If You Don't Know Me By Now and You Make Me Feel Brand New, Mick's ballad-driven bluesy, soulful soft rock has proved a perennial favourite with the public.
