'Beatlesque' melodies combined with attitude and arrogance akin to The Rolling Stones made this Manchester band one of the most important bands of the '90s. Catapulted to fame in 1994 with their debut album, 'Definitely Maybe', the Gallagher brothers fell effortlessly into the rock'n'roll lifestyle of sex, drink and drugs, offending everyone they met along the way. Famed for their temper tantrums as much as their music, their antics made them Britpop's favourite bad boys and a godsend for the press. Love them or hate them, you can't deny their ability to write a damn good pop tune.

A glorious synth-tinged melting pot of indie rock that will caress the eardrums. Formed in Leicester while still at school, they took their name from Linda Kasabian, one of the members of the Charles Manson cult. Their electronica-indie rock fusion akin to Primal Scream combined with the rough vocal style and unrepentant Mancunian swagger of Oasis has firmly established them as more than just a flash in the pan and injected a large dose of energy back into the Brit-rock scene.

From seemingly nowhere, in 2006 three very young musicians from Coventry emerged calling themselves The Enemy. Greeting the music scene with contempt and a two fingered salute to the trend setting elite, the band's competence to deliver stunning live performances has seen them share a stage with some of the biggest and greatest acts in the world including The Rolling Stones, The Sex Pistols, Oasis, The Manic Street Preachers, Ash, Paul Weller and the mighty Bon Jovi, spanning venues from their local Saturday sports club Folly Lane Football Club, where they performed one of their first ever gigs, to five performances at Wembley Stadium.
The Enemy have never really been in vogue, they've always been the underdog, until their debut album crashed into the the UK top 40 at Number 1 and went on to go double Platinum, becoming the soundtrack for a new disaffected generation. Fast forward eight years and The Enemy have matured, humbled and ripened into something far more complete and purposeful and become a well established act. Three albums, all top ten, over a million records sold and a plethora of singles which rivals most of their contemporaries troubling the UK top 10 on several occasions.
