In the mid 1980s, Norwegian trio a-ha created teenage hysteria and general pandemonium wherever they went with hits such as 'Take On Me', which was essentially the soundtrack of the decade. Since 1985, a-ha have released nine studio albums and 41 singles, sold in excess of 35 million album, performed over 560 concerts in 36 countries, and received many prestigious awards and honours, culminating in a knighthood from His Majesty King Harald of Norway for their contributions to music and dedication to the Norwegian music scene.

In 2006 the band received the 'Q Inspiration Award' in honour of their lasting musical influence. a-ha decided to split in 2010, following their final world tour, but reformed in 2015 for their thirtieth anniversary tour.

    They are as good as they ever were.  Morton is still a bit reserved on stage as if he thinks he is above everyone but maybe it's his way.  He doesn't engage with the audience much but then neither does Eric Clapton.  Mags is definitely coming out… (cont'd) Christine ter Meulen from Hayes
