The band formerly known as Charlie Boyer and the Voyeurs are now just The Voyeurs. Alongside this shortened name comes wider perspective.
The band's second album takes in the rail networks of Eastern Europe and a transvestite bar in Limehouse in East London. Rhythmic inspiration comes from both The Glitter Band and the Berlin-fermented pulse of Iggy Pop's The Idiot.
'The new album has a colder, darker feeling than the first one,' says Charlie. See http://www.heavenlyrecordings.com for more.

Supporting the Fat White Family, The Voyeurs gave a blistering, if upsettingly short (half hour) performance playing only tracks off their (at that point) unreleased second album "Rhubarb Rhubarb". They're an incredibly tight group and I would love to see them play again for longer and to hopefully hear some… (cont'd) Emma
