Our House

Directed by Louise Denison
Musical Direction by Jim Lunt
Written by Tim Firth
Music and lyrics by Madness

The Olivier Award-winning musical featuring the songs of Madness comes to Wakefield!

The team that brought you Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats and Oliver! work their magic on this coming-of-age musical about growing up, family values and love.

Camden lad Joe Casey has his whole life ahead of him; but on his 16th birthday, while trying to impress new love Sarah, he makes a fateful decision that has far reaching consequences for everyone.. Joe’s world splits into two and we see what happens as he tries to win Sarah back in this parallel story that has echoes of Sliding Doors.

Featuring all of Madness’ classic hits, including Baggy Trousers, It Must Be Love and Driving in My Car, Our House is a touching, high energy love story with a heart warming love story at its core!

Don’t miss this quirky musical at Theatre Royal Wakefield in 2017!

Our House was first produced at the Cambridge Theatre, London on 28th October 2002.
Producers were Tiger Aspect Productions, Rupert Lord, Andre Ptaszynski and Phil McIntyre in association with Madness.

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International (Europe). All authorised performance materials are also supplied by MTI Europe.

BSL Interpreted Performance is on Thursday 7 September, 7:30pm.
