Bal Folk

An evening of traditional French and Breton dancing with live music by the fabulous Dragonsfly a Westcountry band known for their upbeat Celtic and world folk music playing for us their exhilarating French dance repertoire who tonight are a French dance ensemble.

A super fun evening of joyful music, dance and community togetherness with a wonderful variety of traditional couple and circle dances such as the Polka, Schottische, Mazurka, Waltz, Chapelloise and Bourree. Some are earthy, some romantic and some just fun!

From 7-8 there will be a dance workshop for learning and practice. It's suitable for all levels and is highly recommended. Then from 8-11 we will dance the night away with enough support and instruction to make it fun and easy for everyone to participate.
