Klezmer Course

A course with members of the London Klezmer Quartet. Play in a klezmer band, be part of the first Halsway Klezmer Kapelye (big band), and learn steps for the dances that the music traditionally accompanies. Reading music is not eassential as you'll be working by ear quite a bit, but you will also look at interpreting written music. All instruments welcome; for players grade 4 and above, or equivalent.
