An Evening With The Brontes
An evening of readings, diary extracts and dramatised excerpts from the novels, tracing the lives, times and works of the Bronte sisters. A fascinating insight into the lives of Charlotte, Emily, Anne and their dissolute brother, Branwell, the circumstances behind their writing, the influence of their family and their experiences at school and as governesses and teachers.
The evening includes excerpts from some of their greatest works including Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights and Agnes Grey – an excellent introduction to some of our greatest writers, suitable for both students and adults.
This is a Fundraising event for The Quay.
