Street Theatre are paying homage to the brilliant William Shakespeare with an exciting treatment of one of his most accessible and best loved comedies.

Claudio loves Hero, and Hero Claudio, and nothing seems capable of keeping them apart. Claudio’s friend Benedick loves Beatrice, and Beatrice Benedick, but (because neither will admit it) nothing seems capable of bringing them together.

‘Much Ado About Nothing’ is a razor-sharp romance with the central pairing of two sparring lovers meeting again after a long absence and continuing to quarrel, until they are tricked into acknowledging their love.

In celebration of their 20th year and directed by Karen Trevis this fresh production from Street Theatre is presented in modern times, opening up all sorts of intriguing opportunities to surprise and delight audiences, and to challenge the 23 strong ensemble.
