Welcome back The Highland Chamber Orchestra as they bring another Sunday afternoon performance to the Pavilion.
The Pavilion has been a regular venue for the HCO for some years now and their performances are always enjoyed by the Strathpeffer audiences and beyond. The HCO is developing a reputation for finding music that doesn’t often feature in the concert hall and this year’s programme continues this theme.
There is a brand new work for string orchestra, Arthur’s Seat by young Highland-born composer Emma Donald, and Moray-based musician Bruce Gordon will feature in Weber’s delightful Bassoon Concerto.
The arrangement of three of Rameau’s Ballet Movements by Felix Mottl and Beethoven’s mighty Eroica Symphony completes what is sure to be an intriguing concert – so don’t miss it!
