After their magnificent 40th anniversary tour this year with The Men They Couldn't Hang, we are extremely excited to be welcoming Phil 'Swill' Odgers & Bobby Valentino back to Katie Fitzgerald's on Friday 7th February 2025.

Phil Odgers

Best known as one half of the legendary joint vocal strike force of The Men They Couldn’t Hang, Phil Odgers strikes out on his own. Sharp songwriting - a journey through kitchen sink realism and social commentary. Phil's warm melodic voice and rhythmic strumming acoustic guitar take centre stage throughout, aided and abetted by fiddle, double bass and lead guitar in all the right places.

Bobby Valentino

Famous for being the man who co-wrote and played violin on The Bluebells 'Young at Heart'. Bobby has played on records by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Paul Weller to name but a few. Bobby's vocal talents are demonstrated on his solo album 'This is Murder'. A 'Best of' the solo albums he released in the 1990s is to be released in spring 2011 under the title 'Pat-a-Cake, Pat-a-Cake'
