Opera Highlights
In Autumn 2018, Scottish Opera is back on the road with Opera Highlights, taking four singers and a pianist to venues the length and breadth of the country for an entertaining evening of operatic treasures and great company.
In Daisy Evans’ inventive staging, she interprets a wonderfully engaging operatic playlist – including Verdi, Mozart and Donizetti – linked together with new compositions by Scottish Opera Composer in Residence Samuel Bordoli to reflect the emotional journey of the dreams, memories, fears and hopes of one whose heart has been broken.
Sofia Troncoso (Scottish Opera Emerging Artist 2018/19), Sarah Champion, Richard Pinkstone and Dawid Kimberg are joined by former Emerging Artist repetiteur Jonathon Swinard at the piano.
