One of that not so rare breed, a mad, hard-drinking ginger-haired Scotsman, Brian Higgins is also one of that rarer set – he's funny! A favourite with students, he manages to both ignore and play up to the stereotype to laugh both with and at it, in a spellbinding set that covers everything from a 'loony childhood', his former days as a paramedic (honest), as well as life's ups and downs in an always topical set.
Described as the 'people's favourite comedian' by The Stage, combined with his energetic delivery, he never fails to deliver the goods.
'Daft but very funny' (The Guardian)
'The people's favourite comedian' (The List)
'A live wire and skilful' (Time Out)
'Brian Higgins, who has been likened to an early Billy Connolly... delivers his diatribe on life's funny - and not so funny - ups and downs in an energetic style that has made him a favourite both in the UK and as far afield as Dubai' (Funhouse Comedy).

Alfie is an original and distinctive comedian with his niche area as a serving police sergeant. He came slightly later to comedy and brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his eighteen years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival!
Born and raised on a council estate in Sheffield he was an apprentice in the steelworks before joining the Police. Early on in Alfie's career he finished runner up in a national stand-up competition and was well and truly hooked. He subsequently served a whole new apprenticeship, honing his craft at comedy clubs all over the country. Alfie has an observational comedic style, which lends itself to witty, and sometimes gritty, anecdotes based on everyday modern policing.
'He's a very funny man' (Rhod Gilbert)
'Genuinely brilliantly funny' (David Mitchell)
'Very funny... a large dash of gallows police humour' (The Daily Telegraph)
'He walks the comedy beat with confidence' (Metro)
'Gloriously, life-enhancingly funny' (The Scotsman)
'His is a higher form of wit. delivered with lashings of good spirits and an effective slither of self-deprecation' (Chortle)
'Lots of well-crafted jokes and a large dash of gallows police humour' (The Sunday Telegraph).

'Wayne The Weird is an outrageous comedian and magician' (The Southern Daily Echo)
'No-one in the audience will be able to ever look at rubber gloves and white rabbits in the same way again' (Creative Cows Comedy)
'... the outrageous comedian and magician... Bamboozling and fascinating the audience with trickery, his balance of comedy, magic and banter is the recipe for his success' (Funhouse Comedy).

Since 2006, Alan has been honing his stagecraft at the comedy clubs in Wigan, Preston and Manchester which he promotes and is resident compere. He has also recently gigged in North Yorks, Lincoln, Shrewsbury, Liverpool and Chester' (http://www.comedycv.co.uk).
