Dan Donnelly

In the early 20th Century, an Irish immigrant family called McCoy, (latterly The Kirk; Purple Onion; Tontine and Moby Grape), ran the bottom house in Port Clarence. A place full of blarney, song, music and craic, the pub formed one of central community hubs for a thriving port. Recreated in The Storytellers Pub, and as a pre-cursor to ‘Of Rogues and Of Honest Men’, the Community Pub Opera, drop in for a little bit of mountain dew, a game of cards, live Irish session bands and McCoy’s legendary chicken and stuffing sandwiches.
