Master Musicians

Alexander Panfilov was born in Moscow, and studied at the Gnessin Music School and the Moscow Conservatory.

At present he is on a full scholarship at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, studying with Graham Scott.

He has won a raft of First Prizes in competitions throughout the world, and appeared in prestigious venues including the Moscow Conservatory, Carnegie Concert Hall, New York, the Vienna Musikverein and the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

Alexander will perform works by Schumann (Etudes Symphonique), Debussy (Estampes), Ravel and Stravinsky.
