Stepping Out (The Play)

Stepping Out is a lovely, award winning comedy by Richard Harris, and it introduces us to the ever patient dance teacher, Mavis and her eclectic bunch of eight pupils made up of seven ladies and one man. Over a period of several months the play follows the group's progress along with Mavis and the redoubtable Mrs Fraser on the piano in not only the world of tap dancing classes but in the stories that unfold about each of the very different characters.

Auditions for Stepping Out will be Sunday 14th September 2014 2:00pm at the Church Annexe, Woodford. Sue Mooney is in the Director's chair and will be issuing a character breakdown shortly so watch this space!

Tickets for Stepping out will be on sale from early March 2015 onwards. £1.00 from every ticket sold will be donated to our chosen charity for the season which is Prostate Cancer Research UK.
