Organ Restoration Gala Concert

Join Stockport Plaza to celebrate the completion of the extensive restoration of The Plaza’s renowned Mighty Compton Organ which has entertained audiences throughout the decades since the instrument was installed at The Plaza for our opening day on October 7th 1932.

Featuring Ian Gough and fellow organists, this afternoon event of sublime music is a majestic showcase of the very greatest performers playing one of the finest instruments of her genre still accommodated within the Super Cinema and Variety Theatre for which she was designed.
