A Taste Of Honey

Set in 1950s working-class Salford, the play tells the story of Jo and her unshakeable optimism in a grim world with her irresponsible mum, the black sailor who leaves her pregnant and Geoffrey, the gay art student who moves in to help her.

Making a triumphant return to Stockport after the highly acclaimed film version was filmed there in 1960.
