It’s a Wonderful Life - A Radio Play on Stage

The story of the most inspirational film of all time. The heart-warming American family classic. ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ is brought to the stage in a Live Radio Play.

Performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience. Six actors perform the characters of 1940s radio actors, who in turn portray the dozens of characters from Frank Capra’s beloved film. Featuring live sound effects, period radio commercials and live music from Johnny and The Jingle Belles this performance is a rare opportunity to see how a 1940s radio broadcast was produced.

We are thrilled to bring this play to the Tolbooth. This production has built up an impressive following, it is now the fifth anniversary of the production, and it has grown each year, with performances quickly selling out – a show to fill you with the joy of the festive season.
