Friends And Neighbours
A comedy set in an industrial Lancashire town.
The play centres around the Grimshaw family and their neighbours. The Welfare Officer tells Mrs Grimshaw she is to put up two foreigners in her home and the hilarious goings on which occur when she breaks the news to her husband, Albert.
Molly Sugden, star of hit TV comedy show Are You Being Served? played the part of Mrs Holmes (one of Mrs Grimshaw’s neighbours) in a London production.
