Into The Woods
Like the trees in the woods, Sondheim’s mischievous musical intertwines many beloved fairy tales and their characters, including Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack of Beanstalk fame.
The fables (based on the Brothers Grimm versions) are woven together with an original story of a childless baker and his wife.
As the characters search for their happy-ever-afters, the consequences of their fairytale wishes become apparent.
Phenomenal music binds all together.
An amateur production presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Ltd. on behalf of Music Theatre International of New York.
