Unaware of her true identity, Egypt’s Captain Radamès becomes captivated by Aida - one of the Nubian women his army have captured. Back at the Palace betrothed Amneris is waiting, a bitter love triangle soon ensues – all three torn between passion and people, honour and aching hearts, duty and desire.
