Murder Weapon

Chief Constable Jessica Bligh returns to the home of her best friend, Diane, after a night out to find herself the key eye-witness of a murder. According to the cynical Inspector Fremont, the case is cut and dried but Jessica is not so sure. Yes, the prime suspect was standing over the body of Diane’s husband with the proverbial smoking gun in his hand, but it doesn’t feel right. Less of a whodunit than a how and why, Fremont’s case rapidly unravels until no one is sure who the murderer is, nor what exactly is the identity of the murder weapon itself.
