The Oklahoma landscape is barren, farmers are being driven from their land as their crops turn to dust. The Joad family are driven by desperation and by hope.

Facing environmental and economic disaster, they join thousands of families to undertake the epic journey; travelling West to California in search of work and a new life.

The Grapes of Wrath is a story of survival, unity and community. It speaks fiercely to the current moment. This urgent new production from Nuffield Associate Director Abbey Wright features a community chorus with live music from Matt Regan (Greater Belfast).
